Legoland Day 1

I started to post a while ago, and the long version is just taking too much time. So instead of giving you the whole story (which you probably don’t want to hear anyway) I’m just going to post some highlights.

Brad left for work on March 14th, same as always. About an hour into his shift he sends me a text, “Want to go to legoland this week?”

Random. Extremely.

Long story short, we ran out of excuses so I started packing and Brad made some reservations. We left the next morning at about 4:30 and made it to our hotel around 4:30 p.m. or so. The kids had a great time swimming that night and would have been happy to just stay at the hotel and swim all day everyday. We spent 2 days at legoland. Here are some pictures (since that’s what everyone wants to see!)

The boys absolutely love Bionicles! We have 3 Bionicle movies, so it was cool for them to see the huge statues.

Sadly, the Star Wars mini land wasn’t open yet. They were still working on it. But I snapped some pictures of a couple things they were doing. Kaden was super upset. He loves Star Wars.

To the right are their sad faces because of the Star Wars part not yet open. The rest of Mini Land is pretty cool. It’s amazing what they’ve built with legos. They even have cars driving around and boats out in the water moving.

 

 

 

Now this poor guy was not feeling well. He didn’t want to go on many rides, he didn’t eat his lunch, and doesn’t he just look awful. I ended up taking him to the urgent care the next day. What an adventure that was! But he was a trooper and is constantly asking when we’re going back!

The band up above was really cool. You stand on the circle in front of the instrument to make it play it’s part of the music. Very entertaining!

So, that’s just the first day. A bit of a picture overload I think. I will post the rest later.
