I can’t believe my little girl is already a year old.
The day started out right. Last night I was super sick, so Brad got up with the kids and let me sleep in. He came in to tell me that the carpet was wet and the ceiling was dripping. Great.
We believe it was the ice maker line for the fridge upstairs… It’s stopped leaking, my dad turned that water off. So, now we just need to clean up the mess down here. I’m grateful it wasn’t anything bigger than that! And we still had a great day.
Aunt Shalene and Sydney’s gifts!
Proof that I really am around in my kids’ lives. I just choose to hide behind the camera. Don’t you just love those pigtails! We went shopping with Grandma Stephens and she had to buy them. They make me laugh! Kyla liked them though. She usually pulls headbands off and won’t let me put them back on. This one fell off and she handed it to me and stuck her head out waiting for me to put it back on. Kaden says she looks like Rees (a cousin) with them on because Rees’ hair is always done cute like that!
I think every little girl needs a blanket like this. It says: “Caution: Moody” PERFECT!
Not the best pictures, sorry. But a huge thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen for the cute gift! She loves to use dishes at meals and this will make it even more fun for her!
She had to try out one of her new presents will I finished decorating the cake. She really likes it, but her legs aren’t quite long enough…
Because it was her first birthday we did two cakes. One for Kyla to enjoy by herself and one for everybody else. Don’t you just love the movie Tangled!? Aaron watches it daily! Kyla wasn’t afraid to dig right in to her cake. Both of the boys didn’t know what to do when they had their own for their first birthday. But she didn’t hesitate.
Happy birthday babers! Thanks for bringing our family so much joy this past year! We love you so much!
