Here are some more pictures from our spontaneous adventure!
I love how Aaron's holding his hand out too! He was copying the lego guy holding a brick.
Ready for another day! The boys had walked around the entire day before so we decided to rent a stroller for them on day 2. I was grateful to have it. They were pretty worn out to begin with.
These cars were pretty cool. The kids actually push the gas AND steer. As you can tell, Aaron had some major issues! He barely made it around that curve before their time ended. The poor attendant…
Gomer! Notice the banana in the police officer’s holster?
I thought this dog was hilarious! I totally didn’t expect it!
Ok. This next part is up there on my list of favorites from this trip! The first day we spent way too much for lunch. We didn’t want to waste time leaving to find a cheap place to eat, so we just sucked it up and ate there. The prices were beyond outrageous and the kids barely touched their food. So, we spent a ton and threw away too much. Needless to say, we went with a different plan on day 2. Kyla was asleep when we ate so when she woke up we had to find something close by for her. There was a little stand that had some churros. I figured we’d let her try it…
We gave her the whole thing, let her hold it and eat to her heart’s content.
About 10 minutes after the first picture. People walking by were laughing at her so we stopped to see why.
Just a couple minutes after the previous photo. She broke it into two pieces and was as happy as ever, unlike Aaron. We were headed to the Aquarium.
Nearly to the end of the Aquarium I looked and it was almost gone. (Of course we practically ran through that place, so maybe 10-15 minutes had elapsed.) That face about sums it up.
These blocks are cool. They are super soft and huge. Kaden had a blast playing with them. And they sell them at one of the stores there. Yeah, a kit of like 80 pieces is only around $500. Bargain!
This cracks me up. Kaden loved this lego mom and needed his picture with her. Aaron went to join the picture to. Do you see the teddy bear of the lego baby he’s sitting on?!
Of course the boys had to go swimming again. It was too cold for me and Kyla but Brad braved the cool air for his boys! He was throwing them into the air and catching them in the water. I was taking pictures, and got some midair… I’m going to leave them small though. They show a little extra skin. The force of Brad pulling them out of the water pulled their swimsuits down. A lot.
Because it was so cold, I didn’t put Kyla in her swimsuit. But she decided to get in for a little bit anyway.
It didn’t last very long though!
We were all ready for bed that night! We had a blast though!
