Living Planet Part 2

I just want to say thanks to Ash for the heads up on Windows Live Writer. Here’s hoping I can make it work! Some of the pictures have glares, sorry. The glass was pretty dirty in some of the tanks and it was hard to get a good angle.

Don’t hate me for posting this picture Brad! I love you!

Living Planet Aquarium (13)

Living Planet Aquarium (18) A cool yellow frog. The blue frog pictures didn’t turn out. I couldn’t get the camera to focus on the frog because it was behind so much foliage.

Living Planet Aquarium (22) The penguins were definitely a highlight! It was so fun to watch them play tag and just pop right out of the water onto the land.

Living Planet Aquarium (28) These kids are growing too fast.

Living Planet Aquarium (34) I could have passed the spiders without so much as a glance… gross. This spider was hiding under the log. We had to use the light on our camera to see it. I was reading the sign that tells about it; this spider can get up to 1 foot wide. NASTY!

Kaden wasn’t tall enough to see this pink-toe tarantula. He kept repeating “I can’t see.” Brad finally lifted him up to have a look. He totally freaked out. Hilarious!

Living Planet Aquarium (40) This sea turtle was awesome. He was in the shark tank and he was huge.

Living Planet Aquarium (42) They have an area with some stingrays that you can touch and (for even more money and an appointment) feed. They get all excited when they see a hand by the water and jump up or stick their “arm/fin” up. It freaked the kids out.

Living Planet Aquarium (47)One of them jumping up.

She is such a goober!

Hungry? I bet this guy could feed ya for a week. He was the biggest lobster I’ve ever seen.

The other pictures are in the previous post. This place really was a lot of fun. I’m glad we were able to go. My boys have barely let their toys out of their sight and they are still talking about the octopus and penguins. If you need something to do, check it out!
