X-rays

I’ve been jumping around a lot with my post topics lately. Sorry for the bumpy ride. We took Kaden in to get his arm cast off on Thursday and we got copies of the x-rays that they took that visit and at his 1-week follow-up. I thought you might enjoy some of them.

This is his femur at the 1-week follow-up:

This is his wrist, also the 1-week follow-up. You have to look really closely at the very tip of his radius to the left; there is a small abnormality which is the break.

So there you have it. Don’t worry, the femur is supposed to look like that. The Doctor said it’s perfectly placed and will heal nicely because of all  that surface area. He’s doing great and is happy to have the cast off his arm. It was really tender and sore at first but now it doesn’t bother him much. Hope you all enjoyed!
