My Son, The Comedian

Kaden says the funniest things. Here are a few of the things he has said and done recently, just to give you an idea of what I get to listen to everyday!

We were driving home from church on Feb. 22nd and Brad said, "Well, would you look at that!" Kaden chimed in, "It's a blue ball!" In case you're wondering, that's from A Christmas Story.

During church that same Sunday, Kaden started kissing my arm and saying, "I love you, I love you, I love you." That's from Singing In The Rain.

Apparently he likes to quote movies. But, he also comes up with some funny things on his own.

We were getting ready to leave for Idaho Saturday morning. I had to run into the house to grab one last thing and while I was gone Brad told Kaden he was going to leave me. Kaden was tell him no, that he wasn't being nice and that sort of stuff. Coming to my defense. Well, I got out there and Brad started inching forward. He finally stopped and let me in, and told me how Kaden was defending me. I told Kaden thanks and his response was, "Yeah, I saved your life!"

Brad and I were talking on the way to Idaho, and I was trying to talk over him. (Yes, we were arguing about some stupid thing...) Brad told Kaden to tell me to stop yelling. Kaden said, "Stop yellowing. Stop yellowing, Mom." That ended that.

And the real knee slapper...
We went to Ikea tonight and Brad put Kaden on his shoulders to walk around the store. Kaden said, "Dad, you're losing your hair." We looked at each other like what did he just say. Brad said, "What?" "You're losing your hair." So, Brad asked where and Kaden said, "Right up here on top." I couldn't stop laughing for quite some time.

You just have to love kids, they are so innocent and honest! Well, we are all doing well. Aaron took his first step on Saturday, but hasn't walked on his own since then. He almost has 4 teeth now. He's getting huge, but he is so much fun! A couple more weeks and he'll probably be walking.
